Through this workshop, you are invited to participate in the journey of pursuing your passion by creating a new venture. Along with developing your own ideas, you will develop key life skills such as opportunity recognition, initiative thinking, communication, presentation, collaboration, problem-solving, creativity and adaptability. This workshop deals with the simple aspects of entrepreneurial practice required to take action on business ideas. It is an immersive experience for understanding how to launch new ventures from your ideas.
The focus of this workshop is on two different facets of entrepreneurship i.e. entrepreneurial thinking and entrepreneurial process. You will have many opportunities to develop and practice the skills associated with these two facets. However, it is essential that you keep an open mind and have your own views about entrepreneurship.
Throughout the workshop, you will learn to act on a business concept, create and evaluate entrepreneurial ideas and learn to use resources optimally. You will also learn to collaborate and learn from your peers by working in teams driven by creativity, problem-solving and leadership. In sum, this workshop is a journey through the early stage entrepreneurial activity.
Aditi Nemani is a graduate from Babson College, where she led an independent project on how entrepreneurship education could help young students develop the mindset and skills to succeed in the 21st century and think differently about their careers from an early stage, which finally led into her startup, Nurturepreneurs.
Mohit Mangal is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of iQue ideas, a renowned foundation for career counseling and youth awareness. As part of iQue ideas, Mohit has guided more than 2,00,000 students for their careers and trained 30,000 students on Aptitude and Personality.
Pritesh Bhatia is an Assistant Professor at GLS Institute of Design. As part of this new design school, Pritesh is the coordinator of the product design department and is pursuing a PhD in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Institute. Pritesh pursued Master’s in Product Design from MIT Institute of Design, Pune
